James Bain Round-up

Seth — December 14, 2009 @ 4:59 PM — Comments (4)

Well folks, we had a successful release of James Bain’s DNA test results which prove that he did not rape a little boy in 1974 and that he has been wrongfully incarcerated for over 35 years.  Bain’s family was present and made some wonderful comments as well about how the wrongful incarceration has hurt them.

There has been a lot of press coverage and I wanted to point you all to some of it:

Here is some video from the press conference courtesy of the Lakeland Ledger:

Comments and Pings on “James Bain Round-up”

  1. Wonderful news! And, I’m anxious for the even better news about his release. I’m sure I join the Bain family in prayers that happens very, very soon!

  2. The “People” who took 30 years of Jim Bain’s life away should be held accountable. What the “People” did to him can never be restored. As a rock bottom minimum the U.S. government should pay him $30,000 a year for lost wages and $30,000 for wrongful imprisonment with interest. Without the interest factored in the figure is $1,800,000. The figure would probably be up around $20,000,000 or more at 10% interest compounded daily.
