James Bain
At the age of 19, James Bain was convicted of rape, breaking and entering, and kidnapping. He was sentenced to life in prison. Thirty-five years later, at the age of 54, James Bain walked out of prison as a free man.
Alan Crotzer
On January 23, 2006, Alan Crotzer was freed from prison after post-conviction DNA testing proved his innocence of a 1981 rape, kidnapping, and robbery. Crotzer had spent 24.5 years in prison in Florida for this crime – more than half his life
William Dillon
William Dillon spent 27.5 years in prison for a crime he did not commit. His wrongful conviction not only changed the course of his life, but it also affected his entire family.
